I still live with my mum (sad, but true, still can't afford a place of my own) and she is away for two days to a friends wedding which means for 48 hours, I'm the Queen of this Palace. You see it's my mums house...I just live in it.
I am a HUGE fan of Rock Band - a video game of sorts available on most consoles, I have it for the Wii. Rock Band gives you the chance become a Rock Star. You can sing, play guitar, bass, drums and even keyboard! I have attended and helped co-host many a Rock Band evening at friends and families houses but never had the opportunity to host my own as my mum lives like a hermit and rarely goes out. But now the time has come! I decided to invite family and colleagues to this, I always go into work after many a weekend telling them how wonderful it is but none of them have actually played it. What the hell, i'll have my own one and invite the team.

The invites have been sent (by Facebook), the food and drink have been purchased, the house has been dusted and hoovered and the songs have been purchased and uploaded on to the Wii. Still have to move all the Rock Band instruments down the stairs, set up all the bits and pieces, sort out all the cutlery and on top of all that, I have a perfume party to attend!!! I could be doing all of that, instead i'm sitting at my desk top drinking fruit juice from a wine glass, writing this blog and listening to iTunes on shuffle (current song, Blackberry Way by The Move). I'll finish this blog now, along with the fruit juice as the song draws to a close. Hopefully there will be a post-party post for the blog that will say something like: 'and a fantastic night was had by all'...only time will tell. Wish me luck!
