Hello all and welcome to my blog!
Where do I start? I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Terri, I'm (as of 3/7/2012) 23 years and 364 days old, I'm Scottish, 5ft 10, an only child, an atheist, a frustrated writer, music geek, movie buff, telly addict, a lover of all things retro and I can't stop eating!
The idea of starting a blog has always intrigued me, but lack of confidence has always held me back. Who'd want to read this? What's the point? What if I can't be bothered to keep it up?...but what if I enjoyed it? What if I really grow to love it? What if I learn a lot more about the world around me by reading other strangers blogs? The pros won over the cons, thus the blog was born!
I owe a big thanks to my good friend Jileen Harkins who started a blog some time ago and has done such a fantastic job with it. It was she who inspired and coached me into starting my own. For any of you who are interested or a fan of DIY, check her out at http://jileenharkins.blogspot.co.uk/
At the moment I have no plans what I will be writing about for the blog, I suppose in some cases I will be treating this much like a diary (something I always promised myself I would do, but never kept it up) and other posts will be about/regarding things I love. So expect a lot of music (particularly The Beatles), movie, TV, concerts, clothing and food essays. I'll try to be as entertaining as possible.
